| JOB DESCRIPTION :
|
| Part of a team of seven engineers. Responsible for the high speed PCB design and debugging for Storage Controller (PCI-based). The candidate will work with hardware and firmware engineers and architects to define the PCB specifications and implement the design.
|
 |
| RESPONSIBILITIES :
|
- Responsible for high speed PCB design
- Responsible for PCB layout and
- Maintain and update PCB CAD Tools
- Interface with 3rd party vendors. Layout, Manufacturing and assembly
- PCB bring-up and debugging
- Preparation of documentation with board characterization, and BOM. Final release to Agile
- System integration test

| ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS :
|
|
FPGA development
|
 |
| EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :
|
- Requires a BSEE/BSCS.
- 7+ years experience in Hardware Design and High Speed Board Level Development.
- Mixed signal design
- Experience with design for testability and manufacturing
- Experience with high-speed PCB design and power distribution techniques a plus.
- Experience with PCB design using Pads is a plus
|
| KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
|
- Broad knowledge of digital hardware operation, ASIC’s, PCBs, etc.
- Knowledge of ATA/IDE, SCSI, S-ATA and or SAS is a big plus
- Exposure to 8/16/32 bit uP architectures
- Integration techniques for debugging
